A customer favorite, ravioli are a traditional type of Italian filled pasta. They are composed of a filling sealed between two layers of thin egg pasta dough. The word may be a diminutive of Italian dialectal rava, or turnip. Since the 14th century, ravioli have formed an important part of Italian cuisine across many regions.
