Our Story

A Dream That Has Been Cooking for Years

Since 1989 Pasta Fresh has been part of the community making fresh pasta for families and the finest restaurants in the Chicago area.

In 1980 Tony and Gino Bartucci built a 2-story strip mall building and dubbed it "Piazza Italia" home to Pasta Fresh.

Pasta Fresh is more than buying Fresh Pasta on Harlem Ave. we bring the old country to you. You can look through the window into the back room and see the how we make ravioli, lasagna, and more. We offer a variety of pasta and sauce options, but also sell fresh panzerotti, arancini, and focaccia.

Anthony (Tony) Bartucci, immigrated from the city of Cosenza, in the region of Calabria in southern Italy in 1960, has been making fresh pasta for the past 31 years.

Come in, have lunch, experience pasta the way it should be ... fresh!
